I’m Ro, the heart and hands behind MTR Designs & Crafts, where creativity meets craftsmanship in the most beautiful way. Nestled in stunning Tasmania, I create handmade polymer clay jewellery that reflects the beauty of nature, individuality, and artistry.
My journey into jewellery-making began in my teens in Türkiye, where I fell in love with the art of crafting wearable beauty. In my early 20s, I honed my skills under the guidance of a talented street artisan, mastering the intricate art of beaded jewellery and stainless-steel designs. With passion and determination, I opened my very own jewellery store, successfully running it for over two years before embarking on new adventures across the globe.
After moving to Tasmania, I spent several years capturing the world through my lens as a photographer, but life had an even greater masterpiece in store: my twin daughters. As I embraced motherhood, I felt drawn back to my first love: creating jewellery. In 2019, I founded MTR Designs & Crafts, and in 2020, I discovered the magic of polymer clay, a medium that opened up endless possibilities for my creativity.

I’ve always had a deep admiration for nature, and you’ll see that reflected in my work, delicate floral patterns, organic shapes, and unique textures that bring each piece to life. I believe jewellery should be as unique as the person wearing it, which is why many of my designs are one-of-a-kind. You won’t find mass-produced styles here, just handcrafted pieces made with love, intention, and a passion for detail.
